Le club, créé en 1988, est une association loi 1901 affiliée à l'ASSOCIATION CANINE TERRITORIALE SAINT HUBERT DE L'OUEST, sous l'égide de la SOCIÉTÉ CENTRALE CANINE.
Actuellement, il compte environ 80 adhérents.
